Welcome to HairSwitch AI ("the App," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Photos You Upload

You may voluntarily upload photos to use the App's hairstyle preview features. These photos are used solely to generate the hairstyle previews or transformations you request.

Generated Images

We may temporarily process and store generated images in order to deliver the requested results to you.

Usage Information

We may collect limited technical and usage information, including:

  • Device type
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • Feature usage statistics
  • Session information
  • Performance metrics

Advertising Information

If advertising is enabled, advertising identifiers may be collected to provide and measure ads.

Purchase Information

If you make a purchase, we may receive subscription status and purchase-related information. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Generate hairstyle previews
  • Deliver AI-generated results
  • Improve the App
  • Analyze feature usage and performance
  • Process and manage subscriptions
  • Prevent abuse and fraud
  • Provide customer support

3. AI Processing

Photos may be processed by trusted AI service providers solely to perform the transformations you request.

Your photos are not used to identify you, are not sold, and are not used to train AI models.

4. Temporary Storage

Uploaded photos may be temporarily stored while the requested image is being processed. They are automatically deleted within approximately 10 minutes after processing and are not permanently retained.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for AI processing, cloud storage, analytics, advertising, subscription management, and crash reporting. These services may include:

  • Cloudflare R2
  • Firebase Analytics
  • Mixpanel
  • Google AdMob
  • RevenueCat
  • Firebase Crashlytics

These providers receive access only to the information needed to perform their services.

6. Data Retention

Uploaded photos are deleted within approximately 10 minutes after processing. Analytics and diagnostic information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the App.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 4 and older. If you are under the age of majority or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent required by applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information without the required consent, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action, including deleting the information where required.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when the updated policy is posted in the App or on this website.
